A party to celebrate a woman’s birthday has taken over the US.
The party has taken place at colleges and universities across the country, including in California, where students have taken to the streets to celebrate the event.
One of the organizers of the party, the social media campaign group Students for the Birth of a Woman, told BuzzFeed News that she had been approached by college administrators who wanted to help organize it.
But she said the party has been hijacked by the media.
“The media’s role in this whole thing is absolutely terrible,” she said.
“I feel like I’m fighting against an industry that’s doing everything it can to try and destroy a woman who has a right to have an abortion, to have a birth control method, who has access to education, to a career, who is able to be who she wants to be.”
The birth of a woman, which is a legally recognized medical procedure, has been in the news recently as women have taken legal action against some doctors, hospitals and even universities for misusing the procedure.
Some colleges have also passed laws to ban the birth of young children.
The law was enacted last year, and many women have been pushing back on the ban.
The birth party was organized by students at the University of California at Davis, where a group called the California Women’s Health Center is holding the event, which the group says is aimed at promoting a “feminist vision of the world.”
The group claims it is a “safe space” for women to discuss birth control and reproductive rights.
A group of activists at the event said the group would “provide free birth control services, including free condoms and contraceptives.”
In addition to a “birth party” for young women, there will also be a free yoga class, a free music concert and a “ladyfest” with live entertainment.
The organizers of both the party and the yoga class said they will not discriminate against women.
“We will celebrate the freedom of every woman to live her life without the interference of men,” the group’s Facebook page said.
